About Mark Brown

1995 World Champion of Public Speaking, Mark Brown, has been a Toastmaster since 1993. He is a member of Reader's Digest Toastmasters and the Associate Director of Community Relations for QSP, the education and fundraising arm of Reader's Digest. Among his many accomplishments are a 1996 Music Service Award from the National Association of Negro Musicians, and a 1999 Emmy nomination for the Maine PBS special presentation, "Words Count, with Mark Brown". He travels extensively, delivering more than 200 speeches each year at conferences, conventions, school assemblies and other events.
